The Dog Pound is a short documentary about The Dog Pound, a DIY music venue that operated on UConn's Storrs campus from 2024 to 2025. I was lucky enough to attend multiple shows, meet so many great people, discover so much new music, and document what was an important part of the local music scene in Connecticut. Today, The Dog Pound operates as a booking group, putting on shows around Connecticut and introducing new people to the scene in a fun, safe, and accepting way.
